Anniversary

One year ago Saturday was the anniversary of my stem cell transplant! It's unbelievable how quickly time passes. Looking back...it was quite a scary time, and I feel wonderful to be far from the condition I was in last February. I'm also equally elated to have a clean bill of health looking forward, and can only ask for that much with each passing day.

Unfortunately I can't quite celebrate as much as I had hoped to due to getting hit with a nasty flu/cough virus. We're just finishing up President's Week at the mountain, and 7 straight days of working with the public, plus stacking 2 cords of wood at home has caught up to me. Luckily I've got a couple days off to recuperate. Hopefully it will run it's course and I can get back to skiing, working, and training, all of which are off-line until this cough evaporates! Woo.

Hope all is well!

Happy Anniversary! I hear Joel is up there visiting you; so maybe he'll whip you up some soup Minnesota style.
