It was one heck of a long stay but it's finally over! Sunday afternoon, after a full 4 weeks of being stuck in the same hospital room, I was released. It was a pretty important milestone for me, and I want to thank everyone for all their support, I have no doubt it would've been much more difficult without all the help.
I'm back in Clifton Park now, and although I need to take a nap after walking up a flight of stairs, it's good to be back home. Another great thing about being home is not having to eat hospital food. I wasn't eating much as it was, but being limited to the same 2-3 meals everyday for a month was horrible.
Not too much else to add, like I mentioned before, I'm basically just eating and sleeping for the forseeable future, but I'm really happy to be getting the whole recovery thing on the road.
Again thanks for the all the support,
-Jeff

nice... looking forward to you returning back to the left!
Jeff,
Great job, my family and myself are so happy that you are doing well! You have been fighting through this whole thing and have done a wonderful job! Pretty soon you and I will be kicking back cold ones and trying to keep the ladies off of you, okay we'll let some of them through to you! I bet it feels great to be back home and have the great cooking of your Mom and Dad! Let me know when you are ready to head back out west, there is a town called Kalamazoo that really wants to party with you!
Keep up the great work!

Way to go bro! Can you see it... POD's Youth of a Nation playing in the background as you suddenly pull into a glassy barrell with the lip of the wave skimming the top of your head... just a few months out kid... get your damn ticket!
