Into the trenches....

It's Monday morning, and I'm getting ready to head into the hospital. This morning I'm going to get a biopsy of one of the masses in my chest, where they'll go in and take out some tissue, then throw it under the microscope to make sure it's still hodgkins lymphoma. While I'm still under they'll put in a permanent IV. I already had one of these cute little devices, and am not too thrilled about getting another, but they do make things a bit more seamless. Anyways, if all goes to plan I'll start treatment this afternoon, and be in the hospital through Wed, or possibly Thursday.

I'm definetely a bit nervous, but have had a bit of time to digest things, recharge, and get ready mentally for things. All the love and support of you guys has made it much easier. I know these chemo drugs have a way of cutting people down to size, but, at least at this moment, I'm ready to get things rolling.

Thanks again to everyone for the support, your posts, emails, and calls keep me going!

Hopefully I'll have some sort of internet in the hospital, and can continue to post updates, phone/room numbers, etc.

Best of Luck Jeff!

The sooner you get this started, the sooner it will be behind you. Have a good "nap" and we'll see you on the flip side.
