Welcome to Miami

This past weekend I took a couple of days off, and headed south to Miami to visit Garuna, we had a great weekend, including a trip to see the Dolphins play the Patriots. Actually, we saw the Patriots trounce the Dolphins, but it was great nonetheless. It was my first NFL game, and it was great! Pix:

We also went to the beach, saw some cool old mansion and gardens, and listened to some cool Miami jam bands, and of course, hit up the Fresh Market, which will only make sense to the Top Chef fans in the audience. Definetely a great weekend.

Now it's back to the real world, only 2 months left in the semester! I've got a midterm this week (eek!), but am making some good headway on my thesis (35 pages already)!

Health-wise I'm feeling great, making sure I eat right, and take lots of rest...and the best news is that my joint pain has vanished. 2 weeks of agony have faded into the night, just as quickly as it arrived...WOO!!

In other news, Cal is breaking my heart! We lost to UCLA...and drop to 21st in the nation! Oh well...

Have a great week,
-Jeff
