Delinquient

It's been a little while since I've posted, but thankfully I don't have anything too important to check in about. I've spent the past few weeks sequestered away in the Adirondacks. I've been staying with my grandparents, and enjoying some beautiful spring weather in Paradox Lake. We've been working on building a new dock for all the boats, and it's been quite fun doing some wood working, and generally living the retired life.

It's been quite a while since I've ridden a bike, and with all the nice weather I was getting a bit anxious about it, so thankfully my buddy Adam let me borrow his rocket of a Cannondale, and I headed up to Lake Placid to ride a bit with my bro. He's training for Ironman this summer, and while he rode close to 50 miles, I only put in the last 10-15. It was great to get outside, and the scenery around Lake Placid is awesome, here's a pic of me on the route:

Later that weekend the family rolled over to Rutland, VT to attend my little brother Chris' graduation. It was another beautiful day, and a nice ceremony:

Last week I had another Doc's appointment, and everything seems to be going well. My bloodwork looks good, and we went ahead and scheduled my PET and CT scans for early June. I also got clearance to head back to California, so I'm headed back there tommorow morning. I'm eager to get back as I've been living out of a suitcase since before Christmas, but am a little anxious about being able to balance the challenges of everyday life and work, with adequate amounts of rest.

Will check in soon,
-Jeff
