Bouncing Back

So I'm back from another stint in the hospital, and resting at the Altobello's in Tompkin's Cove for the week. I went into the hospital on Friday, and recieved 4 days of chemo, before they turned me loose on Monday night. It was pretty boring, sitting in the hospital, reading, watching football, etc., but not nearly as harsh as some past rounds of chemo. I've been concentrating on forcing myself to eat and drink alot, and I think that has made a difference. I've had some great visitor's, and also was staying on the 'transplant floor' of the hospital which was really nice.

This week I'm supposed to just relax, which I've been doing pretty well. Next week I've got a pair of doc's appointments, and I begin 'cell collection', meaning they'll draw blood from me for 3-5 days, a couple hours at a time. These cells will be stored until the transplant.

Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well, and want to thank everyone for their continued support, I can't wait to get this stuff behind me.

Hey,
Glad to hear you are at my house resting - but just remember the dusting, windows need washing and oh the vacuum cleaner is in the pantry closet - HA HA HA
The bottom line is just get better, I'm planning that week long Dan Party for this summer.
Moog is on for getting the KEGS of Brooklyn ale and a few dancing girls (preferably from Australia). I'm ready for the pina cooladas, fattening food and a few good rounds of SCOTCH PONG.
Your blog makes it easy, I just post the dates and times and the world will show up.
Take care you are in our thoughts and prayers..
Love Ya,
Mr. & Mrs. A (OH woofs from Solo)
