In the flesh!

This weekend I was fortunate to hang out with the man of the hour on Saturday with his mom and dad. We went out to dinner and saw a movie and as Jeff said, it was the first time he had an appetite in a few days so that was a good thing. After talking to my mom (who is an oncology nurse) she reassured me, and him, that the first chemo treatment is always the most difficult as the cancerous cells are rupturing and your body is processing that and the chemo for the first time. So needless to say, it's like being woken up early after a night of drinking and being asked to compete in an iron man...it's going to take some time to warm up. So if all goes as planned, the following chemo treatments will be a little more tolerable for Jeff. That being said, it is no walk in the park. So we'll take that walk with you Jeff in any capacity we can. The easiest way, start shaving the locks. I know Dan and I have shaved our heads already so that's two...Let's keep that number on the rise. I'll post some proof later.
