Sup Everyone,
Thanks to everyone for their calls and B-day wishes, love all you guys.
Today was pretty busy, I had a PET scan in the morning, where they injected me with a radioactive material, then sat me down for an hour while it ran it's course through the bod. Afterwards they put me in the ubiquitous MRI/CT scan tunnel, and scanned the body.
In the afternoon I recieved the results of all the tests from the past two weeks. It looks like I have Stage 2 Lymphoma. It's spread from my neck to my underarms, chest, and lungs, but not below the diaphragm, nor into the bone marrow. Definetely some good news.
I'll start Chemotherapy on Monday afternoon, and recieve four different types of drugs. The first treatment is supposed to be 5 hours long. I'll recieve treatment every two weeks after that, continuing for 6 months (if all goes well!)
Anyways, I look forward to getting back to those I've missed this weekend, and resting a little bit before the treatment starts Monday. Hope everyone else is doing well, somebody drink a beer for me, and I'll talk to you all soon.
-Jeff
